High School Officials Information


2019 Meeting Schedule (Time/Date and Location Subject to Change)

7:00 Winters Mill Hs Auditorium (HS Rules Clinic)

​8/19 Membership meeting 6:30 Carroll Christian School (Board Meeting afterwards)

9/16 Membership Meeting Freedom Optimist Hall 6:30 (Board Meeting afterwards)

10/7 Membership Meeting North Carroll Center 6:30 (Board Meeting afterwards)

11/13 Membership Meeting and Dinner Freedom Optimist Hall 6:00

Mandatory Rules Interpretation Clinic

If you are unable to attend the state rules interpretation clinic in Westminster, then you are required to attend one of the clinics offered in another part of the state.

​The high school test portal is: https://exams.nfhs.org/ and is available from August 1 to August 30, 2018. (OLB passing requirements 80% passing....90% needed for playoff consideration

Referee Responsibilities

  • Scrimmages:  1/2 Normal Game Fee divided equally among the number of referees present for each game
  • Uniforms:  No one "has" to purchase new style jerseys.  Referees for each game shall determine color and jersey style.  Please makes sure you do this prior to day of game.
  • Report cards (team, player's name, jersey number, reason, and time issued), goals, field , uniform, or other issues/notes  to Bob Ridgely via arbiter game report.
  • An additional step is required for red cards involving a Carroll County Public School team.
    The Carroll County Ejection Report form must be filled out and sent to the Old Line Board Commissioner who will send the report to the Carroll County Supervisor of Athletics.

  • Official No. 1 make sure you call your partner(s) at least 48 hours prior to the game to verify the site, time, and uniform. (Some of the times are a little strange, so make sure to take notice of the time of each game. If you are not sure check with Bob Ridgely.) Official No. 2(and 3), if you do not hear from your partner 48 hours prior, then you call them.
